Hello! Here is a little more about me:

 I was born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

 I moved to Texas in 1999 and became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 2005.

 Regarding my professional degrees and certifications, I have earned a Bachelor of Science in English and Portuguese Languages and a Master of Arts in Teaching English from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niterói, Brazil. 

 I am a certified translator and interpreter in English and Portuguese by the renowned "Daniel Brilhante de Brito," recognized by ATA (American Translators Association).

 I hold a Texas Educator Certificate from the State Board for Educator Certification in English Language Arts & Reading and English as a Second Language. 

 In 2022, I became a Notary Public in the State of Texas.

 As for my professional experience, I have worked in Brazil and the United States as an ESL teacher, private tutor, translator, ghostwriter, copy editor, and proofreader. 

 I am the owner of L. E. Skelton LLC. and the co-owner and Office Manager of two other businesses in Texas: Keith's Dent Repair Inc. and PDR Dfender LLC. 

 My current line of work involves content writing and copyediting projects in English and Portuguese.

 My love for reading and writing is deeply rooted in God and family.

 I am happiest enjoying the company of my husband, Keith, and our dog, Cha-Cha, at our peaceful home in central Texas.
